It is indeed sad that this good looking hand healthy looking pet is gone! This is beautiful pet photography. The light, and the composition have worked well and you have caught the curious look on Jackson's face very well. Good luck!

I'm so sorry for your loss! He was a beautiful boy! This is well focused and clear to view, his eyes are in the shadow , you might be able to lighten them, I also might have cropped to bring this into a portrait as you have clipped his feet. I wish you the best with this photo.

So sorry to hear about your loss of Jackson - he looks such a wise little dog and I'm sure was a great friend to you. I love the pose you caught as he looks trustingly at you. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Very sorry for your loss, he looks like he was a wonderful companion. This picture will serve you well as a remembrance. The color is strong and the shot seems to catch his character. It appears to me that the focus point id the tip of his nose, I would have liked it better if the focus was on his eyes. You could possibly lighten the eye area a little to bring them out more. Lovely shot.

Oh, I am so sad for your loss! He was a beautiful dog and I love that his expression in this image seems to say, "Well, what are you waiting for, slow poke?" He seems so energetic in this pose as though he only slowed down to have his picture taken. May time quickly heal your pain.

A very nice shot and a fine memorial for him. The pose shows his native curiosity as well as his excellent features. A fine pose although I might like to see his feet. Best wishes in the contest.
