Nice capture of the ice covered waters and ice flows. It gives you a real sense of how thick the ice can be to block passage. I like the colors and composition of the piece but it feels very dark and could possibly be brightened a little. Well seen.

A great look at this amazing scenery! You composed this very well. The sharpness and detail are excellent. I suppose people have to take an airplane to get to that village.

A great shot to show how there is so much ice in the water the village is cut off, like the details and textures and depth, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

there is something so eerie yet majestic about these landscapes/seascapes and I probably will never have the opportunity to experience such scenery for real and yes I'm very jealous of my 78 yr old mother who has just come back from a 12 day expedition in the north pole where these scenes were plentiful every day as she went in search of the polar bears..lucky mum..she saw 18 in total

    78 y old: wonderful to make such a trip;
    I've seen only once a polar bear and very far away?.

Oh, my. One has to be ruggedly strong to endure and survive in elements such as this. That water looks so dark and cold and the ice floes are terrifyingly dense. I cannot imagine trying to traverse them in any kind of boat.

Seeing these wonderful shots from your Greenland adventure, I wonder if you ever felt like you were on the Titanic? Another awesome look at this spectacular scenery.

I really like this piece, I could stare at it for a good while and get lost in the landscape it provides, imagining myself there in a boat navigating the frigid waters. very enjoyable piece. well done.
