Very nice scenic picture. Lovely clouds. Nice reflections in the water. Good angle of view. Good composition with the dark shoreline on the lower right corner framing the water and the lighter portions of the picture.

Its still summer in the valley, isn't it? I love that view. The valley looks so green and beautiful. The purple wildflowers in the foreground right are especially intriguing. The mountains never stop to amaze my with their beauty. The sky is so beautiful blue behind the wispy clouds. I almost feel the crisp, clear mountain air.

Thank you! I have always liked ice, and years back wondered about visiting frozen Patagonia. Unfortunately, these days I don't think I would hold up very well physically in that kind of cold though. (I did well managing a Standardbred trotter farm in Ohio in the late 1980's. We didn't have heated waterers for the horses so during the winter months every morning the ice in their frozen water buckets froze into cones which we dumped on a pile of them until this ice mountain thawed in the spring.) I imagine July would probably be the ideal month to visit Alaska? I would like to. Maybe I'll get a windfall and be able to go sometime between now and next July! Daphne Oberon
