I see a common thread in your art work. Encouragement, love, the human relationship in families. The reflections in the glass is a detail I might not think of doing. Very well thought out and well done.

When I saw the date on your picture I immediately thought of 9/11. I also had the title of your work in my mind and thought, I think I know what he was going for here, but I took it to a different place. Help was wanted during that time and the little guy was encouraging his mom to go get them. Now, I don't think that was what you had in mind here, but that is where my mind went. Art is up to the person viewing it. That's the beauty of art.

Believe it not there are Q Mart's thru out the southeast and west ..all independent and no association. Guess its a popular pick..wink. thanks for the great review

I have a Q-Mart up near me, so I find that funny since it is a farmers market of sorts and I thought this town was the only one with one. Anyway, I love the action and story telling in this image. It appears that she may be applying for a job and her son is going to wait for her outside and he is full of encouragement. The yellow, green and blue colors stand out well against the grey tones of the door. The composition is well thought out. Overall, good artwork that tells a story.

Qmart is a common name for retail thru out the country..no association other than name..lol. thanks for the great review

LOVE this and your use of yellow in it. Makes me think of how the world works, how Q mart "needs help" yet the employees are the ones who really need the help. Minimum wage is impossible to live on & that is what this drawing has captured for me.
