Really! It is! I like this unusual photo of a misted, leafless, bent tree practically rooted in air in front of the falls. It leans away from the spillway as though gently sculpted into that shape by the wind over the years. The best of luck in the contest. This is a worthy entry! Daphne Oberon

You took the words right out my mouth. How Dramatic of a scene with this tree seemingly desperate to hold on to the earth and not tumble into the abyss. Great placement of the tree in the frame. Well done Nik ~ Steve

Great contest entry,love this winter tree precariously perched on the edge with the falls in the background.Branches appear to be stretching out into the mist,silhouetted against the white water vapor.Focus and lighting are excellent,the texture of the falls nicely contrasts with the solid white of the spray being thrown as a result of those same waters. I would suggest editing out the object to the right of the tree. Well composed shot,best of luck in the contest! LeeAnn

Quite beautiful, like an Japanese drawing. The white mist behind the tree ads mystic to the landscape and the bizarre shaped clinging tree. There is a touch of high key photography at the left, but the waterfall and the land ad reality on the right. This is an interesting contradiction indeed.

Superior image captured here.
Quite well done on the composition and focus. I love the tree reaching out towards the mist and clinging valiantly to the cliff.
Nature finds a way. Really incredible shot. It could be a books or magazine cover.

A beautiful yet sad shot. Says everything about life and how we strive to be alive. The photography almost looks like a pal to g the balance is unusual but the blackness on the left tells it's own story. The delicate fours are very well caught and the almost silhouette tree gives a focus that says
