Quite an interesting desert shot posted here! Your fine composition offers us a reasonable look at both the ostrich and it's location. Sharpness and exposure are OK. Nicely taken!

Loving your Namibia series, and I adore bird photos, so this one really hits home for me. Liking those tufts on the ground to add interest and give an indication of the perspective. Great work.

I'm afraid my tail lifting days are but a fond memory. A very nice looking ostrich that is nicely placed in the frame. The colors are great and the barren setting is typical.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of this Ostrich parading in front of you tail erect & feathers puffed up making it's head & neck look slightly out of proportion though I know they are perfect in fact. It has one eye fixed on you. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques sharp focus.

What a great clear photo of a gorgeous great bird strutting his or her stuff on the hot rocks and gravel! That is a healthy looking specimen! Among my 101 jobs I worked next to an ostrich farm and none of them were gorgeous like this one. Thanks for sharing! Daphne Oberon
