Thank you very much. It is not too often I get to see snow while there are still leaves on the trees. By 10 the next morning this tree was bare. I got them used to being fed under the cottonwood because the weather predicted snow a couple days in advance. I got several nice shots . Very glad you like this one. Thanks again.

What a great storytelling image this is. Fabulous positioning in the frame - those cranes sure are co-operative! The dash of green adds depth, colour and interest. Stunning work.

I would love to paint this classic shot of the cranes. I like this work because it is so classical in its concept and execution.Overall very impressive. Thanks for sharing. Deserves a six which alas, I don't have now!

I love this shot! Do they not migrate south and stay with us in Florida? I see Sandhill Cranes frequently. This would make and interesting and unusual Christmas Card.

thanks They usually leave as soon as the lake freezes. In the past this has been as late as early January on occasion.

Are you living in paradise? This is such a refreshing sight. The frozen lake, light snowy foreground, and these four cranes , surely made a pleasant elements of your composition. I also like the clarity of the grass blades and the fallen autumn leaves. Well captured and well-framed.

Thank you very much. It was nice to get a little snow while the leaves were still on the trees. It doesn't happen often. These cranes should be leaving soon. They have been coming to my yard for 3 or 4 years and I suspect it is the same pair. This year they have two young. Most of the time they have just one. Glad you like it. Thanks again.

Seems like and sounds like winter is starting to hit you? Here in the NW UK we have had glorious blue sky days recently and it has been cold but no snow. Would though be unusual to get snow in November! Feel sorry for those cranes scrabbling around for morsels to eat! Nicely done!

Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous! Four beautiful Sandhill cranes in perfect placements in this frame , fresh snow over the fallen autumn leaves and on the cranes too, the tree in top right is the perfect touch! , the water looking gray and I can see the snow falling against it! This looks like a painting! This should be framed and hung for display! This is a well balanced scene very well composed. This is of course , well focused, the image is clear, exposure is perfect! Colors and tones are natural. Well presented! I love this!

Thank you very much. This was the first snow of the season and today they predicted more but it was mostly rain which was not nearly as photogenic. The leaves are all down so this the last of the combination of fall leaves and snow. Glad that you like it. Thanks again.
