I really like the colors you used. It doesn't remind me of a whirlpool in water. Lots of movement and the inner shapes could be underwater creatures. What's wonderful about an abstract is no one sees it exactly the same way. Beautiful piece.

Yes I agree, that is one of the things I love about abstract. I also love that when we paint we are creating something that no one has ever seen before, abstract art to me is so wonderful because it is so free.

Really nice, John, especially for a first. If you didn't tell, no one would even suspect.
Excellent technique, nice balance and wonderful colors. Imparts a sense of action - looks to me like a fish swimming in circles creating a whirlpool.

With this being your first one no wonder you are such a great artist John. This has such a unique abstract look and feel to it. It is like fluids in motion much like when a drop of oil is placed on water and begings to be moved about by the currents in the water.
