I sit here and wonder what they must be talking about in pigeon. It kinda looks like the pigeon on the end there might be the third wheel and the other two are on a date:) that's what I feel like for this picture thanks.

What an adorable shot. The pigeons all lined up on the branch makes interesting subjects. Love the colors of the background which enhances the capture. Well focused and lighting is good.

A very nice shot. I like the colors and the sharp detail in that limb as well as the trio of pigeons. It might have been nice if the background was a bit further behind the subject so as to smooth it out a little.

And all in a row, too. Nice clear photograph, SG. Great details in the feathers, great eye contact. Just enough detail in the background. Very well done.

Fred,
A beautiful pucture of this trio of Feral Pigeons perched on the green lichen covered branch, the plumage of each one is slightly different & the one in front looks as if were wearing Pince-nez . The blurred autumnal colours behind them make a perfect & beautiful contrasting backdrop to the birds.
Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Nice shallow depth of field used for the background, as it lets us see the foliage and its colour but does not distract us away from the main subjects "the pigeons". Like the placement and the number of birds - this is call the "Rule of Odds" truly.... images are more visually appealing when there is an odd number of subjects ie: 3, 5, 7. Image has been exposed well as the autumn colours are true and vibrant as are the colours captured in the pigeons feathers - good luck Supergold

A colourful scene indeed! This is a fineshot of the birds! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Looks like a grand day for it there on that big branch! Your fine composition provides us with an enjoyable look at them. We have lots of these pigeons too in the UK. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Hello,
The entire composition of this piece was very well done. The branch naturally guides the eye down to see every detail of the pigeons. The background is also out of focus enough to be a natural setting that draws the viewer in. Splendid work!
