Clever title, and quite fitting. That is very strange. Most plants grow towards the sunlight. If they are heavy with sunflower seeds in the center, I guess they may hang down. But all of them? Truly fascinating. Great presentation. Too bad there isnt a contest for "strange behavior" or "unexplained", or as you said "shy". Great thinking outside the box.

That is unusual, was it cloudy & the sun's just com out??? or are they not sun but "Moon" flowers??? Beautiful composition with all the flower heads looking over their shadows, beautiful lighting & framing taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Definitely an unusual situation that you took the opportunity to capture. I like the diminishing view. The reverse side of the blooms are clear. The colours are true. Good use of light and focus.
