Brenda,
I can see who is ruling the roost in your House making sure she is NOT overlooked to ignored by anybody. A beautiful composition with Marcy looking straight into your eyes imploring you to give her your whole & undivided attention. Taken with superb camera technique & sharp focus.

What a lovely review. Much appreciated remarks. Thank you.

nice capture of the light on her eyes, but the fact that the background is very bright and busy and also the fact that the dog hear is cut off takes from the initial impact and the score

thanks for sharing

Thank you for reviewing and commenting. It was a chance shot hence the clutter. I cropped the ear because of the even more jumble behind lol. I am not very well up on blurring backgrounds. Something i intend to experiment with.

Oh my goodness! This face is so adorable! I love puppies and I would stop whatever I was doing to play with her! I love her face and her cute expression , her tilted head! Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural. Beautiful eye contact! Well presented! Best wishes to you she's to you in the contest!

Very cute shot of this curious pup. I usually make a squeak noise or meow like a cat to get my dogs to tilt their heads. But now they're old enough they are onto me, or just not amused anymore. Your focal point is on target, details are crisp and sharp. Colors contrast naturally. I can even see her little toenails. Nice job.

That has got be the cutest little face ever! I don't know how your heart doesn't just melt! Usually cropping off the tips of the ears or head is a big no-no, but in this case that expression and just her overall cuteness factor trumps those rules. The tilt of her head is adorable too. For an impromptu shot, this is priceless.

Thank you for such a good review. I love your comments on Marcy. She is adorable and very intelligent. Is learning commands so quickly. I cropped her ear because of the awful clutter behind her. I often do off rule stuff partly because of lack of knowledge so i find helpful remarks like yours have made me look at what may lose on a technicality. One of my worst hiccups is horizons that are not level 🙄😒

You are very welcome. She is so adorable! I wonder if some of the distractions that you cropped out could be cloned out instead. I hope she has a chance for the win because that's just about the cutest little face I have seen. It shows much personality :)

You are welcome! I hope it works. If not, I wouldn't worry too much since Marcy's cuteness factor is off the charts :)

A very nice tight shot that shows the innate curiosity of the puppy. The colors are great and the reflections on his eyes are fantastic. Best wishes in the contest.
