Nice shot of the horses grazing. The horses show up well against the light color of the field. Love the buckskin, but they both are very pretty. Well focused and lighting is good. Good luck with the contest.

Lovely natural shot of these two horses grazing. Lovely soft background which enhances the colours of the horses. Nice focus, light and presentation. Good luck with the competition.

Ah the coloring of these horses are in good contrast to the wheat field they are grazing in. Great natural setting with vivid color and detail

A beautiful picture of this pair of horses grazing peacefully on the golden summer grass that complement the colours of their coats the dappled one behind & the Roan in the foreground. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a wonderful shot. I love that the color of the horses mesh so well with the field. You did a nice job of centering the horses and making sure they remain the focus of the shot. Thanks for sharing!

It is two lovely horses you have pictured here, and I especially like the contrast between the dark brown horse, the light dappled one and the bright background. I like so much the limited color pallet and how well the horses are standing out from the background.

Your photo is sharp with clear and well defined details, and I also think the exposure is very good.

The slight crop has worked well and the two horses have got a good placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

An eye catching shot. The composition is excellent and the pale grass really focuses attention on the horses. Best of luck in the contest.

A nice entry into the competition posted here! Wonder where in the world this was taken and what those horses are eating? Your fine composition allows us an enjoyable look at the scene. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

Thank you! This was taken on the Point Reyes National Seashore (California) several years ago. At that time, the park service had a stable of Morgan horses housed near the visitors center. Not sure if they are still there. Here in California, we get no rain in the summer months so the grass that is so green in the spring (non drought years) turns brown and yellow. A different kind of beauty and a renewable source of hay. Thank you again for the nice review.
