another potential winner: a very beautiful dog portrait with pin sharp focus with excellent eye contact; I like the pose and appropriate title: I think the boot is funny, as if Luna could wear it or Walking;

Or maybe you have a treat in your pocket. In any case, a beautiful capture of what I assume to be your best friend. The pose and sharpness of the subject is such that it completely out shines that green boot which I am sure I would usually call a distraction. The eyes stay firmly on the doggie. A great capture!

Luna is truly sweet, and you have pictured her so well. I recognize that look, so full of hope for a walk, and I think especially the eyes are well captured. I do however find the green boot in the background a bit distracting.
Your focus is spot on and sharp, and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the pretty little face. I also think the exposure is very good.
As already mentioned the boot is distracting, and if this photo was mine, I would have cropped the left side and cloned out the boot. But perhaps your idea was that the boot is a part of going out for a walk. I think this is an all together lovely and well taken shot with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
