Nice shot! I think this really looks neat. This contest says in the rules it is traditional. You say you cropped it which will be rejected. I do not agree with this at all. I think cropping and minor adjustments still make it traditional.

I am always in awe of the guys who can skateboard. Their control and daring tricks amaze me. Cool action shot accompanied by great story notes. Excellent lighting with great depth. Nice urban shot in terrific focus. Awesome Action contest entry. Good luck.

This looks so hard. I used to like skateboarding when I was little, but I could never do all of the extra tricks that so many people can do like this guy here. I really how you captured him at the top of that ramp there, or it is probably not actually a ramp but it look like it lol. He looks like he is trying to fly with his arms stretched out like that. Thanks again for sharing my friend. :)

Action and motion difficult to shoot but managed here very well and with humour.. no head ! Also thought I ... he is juggling some red weights lol. A double action. The photo is very clear and crisp although a lot of background can distract especially where the buildings and trees are. Perhaps if this could be blurred the figure would stand out but as its a comp entry edits are probably not allowed. Its a great entry though and I wish you luck.

That's a nice action shot. Because of all the gray, it almost looks like a black & white photo with selective coloring added. I think that makes it more interesting.
