It is really amazing what you can find near the water, sometimes I just wonder why some people want to get as close as they can to the water and they don't think about what can happen in a split second if a bad storm comes around, the dream that that had becomes a nightmare. It can happen anywhere.. This reminds me of the early houses on Ilha da Culatra in the Algarve. Many still remain on the edge of beaches. Some lost for ever. The photograph is so interesting along with your story. The casa size is very relative to realizing the size of the surrounding rocks which without the building on the broken cliff would have seemed on a much smaller scale. The focus is prime to capturing the total seascape. Good use of light picking up those waves, the sky variation and the deep green of the shore water to the left. A super photo.
