Wow, the devastation is amazing, and the fact that anything remains is too. Now it looks like one of those trendy tiny houses! I really like the exposure of this shot and how the colors of the landscape and water are so attractive.

This is living tiny . I love it it is a unique distinctive scene. The red is absolutely beautiful against the blue ocean. I have a feeling someone lived there one time. Beautiful . Congratulations!!!

Those waves, rolling in now, going off your fine photo and notes clearly can have tremendous destructive force too. Your fine classical composition offers us a good look at the sad result. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

This looks neat! I do agree that this may have not been a wise choice in where to build a house. I think just a bit further up the bank would have been better. This photo is interesting and is very different! Good job!

It is certainly a bit of an undertaking just to build on top of that rock. I can't imagine that this is more than just a changing room, but it certainly does stir the imagination.

Strange little house on a rock. I live close to beaches and every time we have hurricanes I cringe for those who built on the beach front. Your photo is sharp, clear lighting and focus. Well balanced and well cropped. Great depth allowing our eyes follow the sea back to pretty blue sky. Very good story telling.

You know I actually have never had this dream lol. My dream would be to live somewhere colder where I can actually enjoy more rain and snow. This is a wonderful photo though. I like those large boulders and that small building that is so oddly placed on the beach. This is so bright and sunny, it creates a very cheerful mood. You framed this unique scene beautifully. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)

Fred,
An interesting picture of the remains of the now roofless Beach house being battered by the wind & the incoming tide the waves lapping at it's steps... Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Looks like a play house for a child?

Interesting thought provoking title to your lovely image of a beach. Can't make out whether this is an actual room to a house on the rock?
I like the large rock formations in the water and on the beach. Looks like a nice warm day but can imagine it could be very blustery on a cold windy day. Thanks for sharing.
