I had an instantly humorous take on this photo upon reading its title. The idea is great and well executed. I thought it was funny and almost meme-like as the dog appears to be both holding on by his paw and floating above water as if singing to the deck "You keep me hangin' on." Although it is obvious this was mixed together and not all parts combine cohesively, it is a good picture and a great idea.

Such a cute dog!! He does look like he is hanging on to the deck. I have a problem with the back legs of the dog. I think the purple color is supposed to be water. For some reason the back legs look strange. I know they are submersed in the water, but the way they look doesn't appear to be real. All other technical elements look great.

Thank you very much for your encouraging comments and your critical input. I have a look at the picture. Maybe I can paint more waves. The background is supposed to be light blue and white. I cannot make changes now, but have to wait until the contest voting is over.

Thank you very much for your review and your advice. Mmmmm, I have to think about the feet, but at the moment I cannot do anything because the contest has not ended jet. The feet are supposed to be in the water or among clouds. Maybe I could paint more waves or clouds or just add the feed back to the photo.
