I think this is a painting with a strong visual impact because of the strong yellow color of the background, and having studied this in detail, it is easy to understand how time consuming it must have been to finish this. Nut as you say, it is worth it when you are satisfied with the result.
I think a lot of thought went into this painting, and it is easy to see that you have paid good attention to details. Excellent brush work as well.
The format and framing is working well, and it is a good flow and balance in the composition. A truly great looking and well done painting John.

The combination of the yellow is just outstanding . I see protection when I look into this abstract I see a white fetus in the left bottom corner I see a finger pointing up an eyes guarding. The sequence is amazing the circles are well define . Very nice piece. Congratulations!!
