Very good entry for the contest. Great close up of this inquisitive looking wild Turkey. When I stayed with my daughter in New Zealand we often had four wild Turkeys walking up the hilly drive to their house. Very good lighting and focus showing excellent detail in the markings. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

A beautiful capture of the wild turkey. Nice how you have captured the emotions of the creature with his gaze, gesture, and pose. Superb eye clarity.....since the eye is so sharp just draws us right into your photography. Your lighting, focus, and details and excellent. Your wide aperture has rendered the background soft yet recognizable. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

The depth and clarity in this image are great! You have actually made this guy appear to be cute :) The details of his features stand out sharply. I've always admired the way their brown feathers resemble wood chips and that shows up well in this shot.

A beautiful portrait of this very alert & watchful Wild Turkey doing it's best to remain hidden in the lush undergrowth with a slightly worried look in it's bright eye. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a lovely close-up shot of the turkey! Fine clarity and sharpness! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!

Excellent choice of subject.
Aptly captured for the contest theme...

A cute & candid capture!!
Nice natural habitat shot--as opposed to zoo setting...

Great color contrast.
Subtle illumination.
Superb up close & personal.

Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Best of luck in the contest!

This is really a neat picture of this turkey. I am surprised you were able to get this close. They are very nervous when people get to close. I have wanted to get a blind set up and bait the field as to get them in close enough. I think you have a good chance of winning with this. Good job!

What a wonderful intriging turkey. Love the angle here and lighting is good. The backdrop of greens work well here to show up the detail of the turkey. He or she looks serious but most of them normally do all the time lolol god job

A beautiful portrait. I love the setting that provides you both a background and foreground element. The cropping is very good and the colors are excellent. Good luck in the contest.
