WOW!!!! What a super facial shot of this turkey! Everything is in perfect focus! Looks like he's looking right at you too! I was blown away when I saw the shot. There is no doubt in my mind at all that deserves six stars! Good Luck in the Contest!

I have never seen so many bird portrait in one go, and all of them really good. It is going to be tough job for the voters to pick the best. I think you have pictured this wild turkey so well, and especially the shiny eye is captured well. I also like how well the green foliage is working as a nice and natural framing.
The bird is standing out sharp and well defined against the softened background, and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen. The exposure is just spot on.
The square format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the bird is well placed off to the right. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This wild turkey is looking right at you! I like this ! He's peeking out fr M the tall grass trees on the field , this is showing good detail in his face , beak and neck, and I see a good clear eye!
