This is so adorable! I like how you captured different poses from each of them. Their little baby feathers have lovely detail and the colors stand out nicely. I like being able to see the structure of the nest too.

Nice work behind your lens capture these two baby Robins still in their nest. Superb eye clarity.....just draws us right into your photography. I like the wonderful expression you captured on their faces. Very well photographed with good lighting, sharp focus, and good details and clarity in your image. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. I love this! Best wish in the Bird Portrait Contest!

Thank you so much for the excellent review. I truly appreciate it. The Robin built the nest in the spring and then didn't reappear for a couple of months. I was so excited when the two baby birds were hatched. It was right outside my kitchen window, so I was able to watch them grow. I was also fortunate enough to see them leave the nest. I was wandering around my yard taking photos like crazy. If anyone had seen me they probably thought I was crazy. What we won't do for a photo!!

Nice shot! These babies are running out of nest. The robins are neat birds and they will build a nest about anywhere around a building. This fits the contest theme very well. Good Luck.

Thank you so much for the excellent review. I truly appreciate it. We always had outside cats, so we didn't have a lot of their prey around the house. My last cat disappeared one day and never returned after having her for about 12 years. I think she went somewhere to die. All of that to say I really think the Robin felt safe building the nest where she did and I really enjoyed watching the process.

A very nice nature shot posted here! Those chicks look as if they are waiting to flee the nest. Your fine composition grants us a good look at their situation. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

a sweet capture of the baby robins in the nest, good eye clarity and nice detail on those young feathers, the nest and robins are well placed in the frame. I take it
it was in a difficult place to photograph hence why the picture suffers slightly with noise, if you put this through
noise reduction it might make the back ground softer. a lovely nature photograph. well captured.
good luck in the contest.

It looks like one of the "family" is on the lookout for the arrival of some food, while the other is just content to sit still and relax. Good detail and color. Well done.

It was for sure with while waiting for this, and the two babies just look adorable and are already very good posers. I have a feeling that it must difficult to take a photo like this. You have a perfectly softened background as well, and both the nest and the bird are standing out in an excellent way.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details both in the birds and the nest, and the exposure is very good.

I like the way you have cropped the photo and the to baby birds are well placed within the frame. Indeed a sweet and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
