The sun rays setting through the clouds warm up the sky, especially knowing how much snow you have been getting. Good choice in cutting out the trees and concentrating on the sky. Almost looks like the top of a volcano as it bursts lava.
beautiful light across your page in nice focus and well framed.

That is a very unique capture of a unique cloud formation. The color and the orientation are good. Nice leading line from the right hand side of the image. Well done.

I admit this is an unusual thing to see. I like the way the sun rays appears to be going up. Usually they are going the other direction. I think you have something different for sure!

I like what you did here, Grace, showing this unusual sunset sky with the rays from the sun making nearly a circle. It looks like a beautiful abstract painting! I like that you cropped the treetops and concentrated just on the sky. Very good lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Thank you very much for your lovely comments :)

Very interesting photo. It looks like it is inverted. The rays look like a flame coming off a stove, or maybe a flaming Halo. And, the lighting on the flames is very eye catching. Good Job.

Weird but glorious golden hour capture.
Semi abstract rendition.
Subdued colors.
Subtle illumination.
Perhaps those tree tops would give us the perspective of height...
Well, just my thoughts though..,
Thanks for sharing...

Only Joni Mitchell can write this review properly, so in her words:
"I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's cloud's illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all.
Wicked Coooool capture of the clouds on fire with majestic light rays.
Fine capture Monty ;)
