A beautiful picture of this pair of Mallards the duck behind & the drake in front his iridescent green head glistening in the sunlight. The blue sky above & the Mallards both reflected onto the surface of the shining water. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Nice catch! You apparently were at the right place at the right time and had your camera ready. The photo is well focused. It is sharp throughout and has good depth. That the ducks swim in contrary directions is especially interesting. The bodies and plumage of the ducks and their reflections show nicely defined details. The colors are vivid and look natural realistic. The photo is balanced and well framed.

Nice catch! You apparently were at the right place at the right time and had your camera ready. The photo is well focused. It is sharp throughout and has good depth. That the ducks swim in contrary directions is especially interesting. The bodies and plumage of the ducks and their reflections show nicely defined details. The colors are vivid and look natural realistic. The photo is balanced and well framed.

These two mallards look so lovely Barbara, and I like how they are pointing in different directions. The light is falling on them in such a lovely way, and I also think you have captured the reflections in such a good way. The two ducks are standing out from the shiny water in an excellent way.
Your photo is of course also very sharp showing such clear and well defined details in both birds, and the exposure is just perfect.
The format and framing could not have been better and the ducks are well placed in the picture. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I think your exposure is very attractive too bringing out the lovely shade of blue in the water and the rich colors of the ducks. The iridescent shine of the drake's head looks great and I like how you can see his orange leg below the water. The female's colors look good too and the motion of the water is attractive.
