such a sweet little bird, perfectly balanced on the rail with its tail feathers in the air, nice capture on the fluffed up feathers, the bird stands out clearly against the blurred back ground, the rail draws the eye across the scene and adds interest. good contest entry. good luck.

The Wren is captured in a nice pose. He seems to look out for something, perhaps food. The fence seems a nice outlook. The horizontal metal rot and the loops of textured metal lead to the Wren, emphasizing the bird. The colors are nicely natural. The photo has good depth, is balanced an d well framed.

I love Wrens & know how difficult it is to capture them as they never stop still for more than mini seconds...more often I frame the Wren & then click and find the Wren has only left it's tail in the frame.
