I guess I didn't see this one before this contest. Wow, look at him just cruise. Huge wing span. How big is their wing span on average? I hear the geese hiking overhead when they are flying either north or south. It's like whoever is the head of the V formation calls out the battle cry, and they all join in. I've had geese that would live in our pond or follow the dog around, but never in full flight wing span. Only enough of a span to chase someone off, running, wings flapping in a tizzy and honking in anger. This guy shows that he can put it cruise control and glide with grace.

Thank you so much for the great review! Their wing span is 50 - 73 inches. There is a park a few blocks from my home that has a pond and a creek. That's where I took this photo. There are many Canada Geese there in the winter. Sometimes a group of them will just fly away. I don't know where they go but I think they come back later or the next day. When I'm at home I enjoy hearing them honking as they fly over my house.
