A beautiful sunset picture off Formby beach of the Wind turbines & the Container ship both in silhouette fully laden with cargo as it sails north up the Irish Sea. The curved glistening area in the foreground leads the eye towards to ship. At the water's edge one of the Statues & above three gulls in flight. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A difficult to take photo with this light I imagine and it has come out beautifully, capturing that dusky sultry perspective. The glinting water nicely lightens the impact and draws the eye to the silhouette of the big tanker leaving and the wind farm mills standing in line. They are also a neat touch showing thought in the construction of the shot.

I really like how you managed to bring out natural sepia colors in this photo, and of course I also love the simplicity of this photo with all the well defined lines and shapes. You have also brought out a fine shine in the shallow water in the foreground.
The photo is pin sharp and both the ship and the windmills are standing out sharp and well defined. It is a lovely light in this photo, and the exposure is just spot on.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the ship off to the left, it is a very good balance in the composition. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Its nice on here to see other parts of the uk on here,never been to Formby although have been to southport many years ago,think in regards to this shot,i would crop top/bottom as I feel the distance is a bit far,more so with the person on the beach as they are a bit tiny in this one,would like to more though...Brian

The dusk colors lean towards the sepia side of the spectrum which gives this image a vintage feel to it. I like how the light accentuates the shine of the water. The darker areas of the water have a nice silver tint that looks good too. The placement of the boat gives the composition a nice balance too.

This is such a peaceful scene, I like the mist over this scene, this is well captured from a nice angle of shot, I like the curve of the water on the sand, the container ship and wind turbines add interest as well as show the contrast between natural and man made, I see a lone figure walking along the beach. For a sunset this picture looks like a sepia finish. I like it for its atmospherics and starkness. The picture is well balanced with fine balance between light and shadows! Good luck!
