How cool is this bird, wow i love the pose its so unique so well done. Good level of detail and lighting with colour that makes the image shine. So intriging this piece , thanks for sharing

Excellent,Grace! The panoply of upraised wings in which each green feather may be seen is,indeed,"a victory." His white body stripe coincides with the fallen diagonal limbs alongside of him.

Yes, it's a great shot. It's very clear and timed perfectly to get the wings up like that. The color is good, as is the composition. So, how long did you have to wait for something to happen?

A very good action nature shot posted here! Yes, it really does look as if your heron is celebrating his fish catch! He was probably very hungry! Your lovely image benefits from having a good composition with fine exposure and sharpness. Well taken!
