I love that you captured the action so well--good job. You also got good depth of field. I'm wondering if in post production you brightened the photo some it would help bring out the animals since there's not a lot of color contrast in the overall photo.

I love photographing animals and I know how hard it is. What was your shutter speed? It had to be fast to get the clarity.

Iway? I was thinking they looked like antelope? I've never heard of an iway. I will have to Google it. When I read, up next: always running and jumping. I thought, must be playful, kids on a sugar rush. Nope..hungry iway. They really do leap and just burst off the ground with amazing forward thrust. It causes much more interest. I want to know their top spread and how many feet / kilometers they can forward jump. They must be after a wild cat. I hate seeing those brutal feeding frenzies. It must have been your spider (golden orb I think) I saw earlier. That made me itch.

I like how you captured many different body positions of their running process and how some of them are suspended above the ground with the good stop action.

A fine shot that shows the terrain very nicely and is highlighted by the pronking springbok. A sharp image with great colors that looks great in this panoramic presentation.

Good action shot. I really do like the panoramic aspect, with mid-air jumps captured very well. The word Springbok translates into Jumping Buck. I live in Namibia, and am very proud when someone posts images of my country.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Sprinkbok pronking in the distance as they perform their unique leaping into the air.
Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Nice capture with some great action in the springboks. The sun shining on the animals accents them nicely against the background of grasses and shrubs. Great work.

A very nice and lively nature shot posted here. Your somewhat tight composition does provide a good flavour of the action taking place out there. Love the energy of it all. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!
