He sure is a handsome fellow. His beautiful tuxedo looking surface markings, look like there is yellow and orange underneath. His lower neck has a light yellow as well. And pink lipstick. He really is decked out. I love this well framed shot and the perfect colors. Great focus and saturation. Good job.

Thank you very much! Just for the record, it is not a duck, it is an Egyptian Goose.

Well Charles, it's not a duck.
This is an Egyptian Goose.
Fine focus, nice eye clarity, great details and nice placement within the frame.
Love the water rings and the silhouette like Reflection.

The colors in this are awesome and you found an Egyptian goose! If you found him in Germany he most likely part of a group of escapees :) The colors of his feathers stand out really well even in the darker areas. I think the water is also very attractive and the ripples are well captured. I like how his foot can seen from beneath the water too.

It looks like an Egyptian Goose to me. A very nice shot with nice diagonal placement and good detail in the bird. The composition is excellent and the colors are outstanding.

Lovely capture of this beautiful duck - sorry I don't know what type it is but it's a lovely example. Excellent lighting and focus showing a nice crisp image. I like how you've shown the gentle ripples surrounding the duck. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Sorry, I cannot help you with your identification problem in your fine nature shot. Perhaps though you could explain what you mean by "decked out duck"? Your nice photo benefits from having good, off-centre composition with equally good exposure and sharpness. Well taken!

Thank you!. My original title - Fancy Duck _ just didn't work. I thought Decked out reflected his being fanct and dressed up complete with monocle and necktie. As if headed to a fancy party. Just a whim.

Wow, very nice photo. The details are nice and sharp. I like the depth of colors in the water with the duck swimming into the frame. Well composed and great colors. Nice work.
