Very interesting to read how this artists was resourceful in using wood from fallen trees after the hurricane. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful idea to use the wood left after the devastating hurricane to create a beautiful piece of art. This is a beautiful horse and you've photographed it very well. I like the angle you used for this, Linda. Very good lighting and focus. Excellent composition. Suzanne

What a very fine piece of art and work, clearly. This looks as though it took a great deal of time and patience. And it is photographed very nicely.

This is a beautiful art piece. The lighting accentuates the colors of the wood nicely and gives off a lovely shine. The materials used in the design are very interesting. I really like this one!

Hi Linda, I love horses so this is especially interesting to view, it's beautuful, what a wonderful idea this artist had , to create something of beauty from the devastation I love it! He did an amazing job in creating this horse, I like the rich wood tones and it looks like it was varnished to preserve it as well. You have photographed this well with good focus, the image is clear, exposure is well managed in the Indoor lighting, colors and tones are beautiful. This is truly a beautiful piece ! Well composed and presented and I love the story behind it!

I have a friend who quit his medical practice to become a sculptor. He works mostly in bronze and it really surprised me to learn that he sold 7 copies of a life size hippopotamus in bronze. A fine sculpture that captures the wild spirit of the horse.

A very nice and interesting piece of art posted here! I may well be wrong, but to me it seems to be a creation put together from branches? Even if it is, it is clearly a very skillful work. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!
