Genuinely realistic enough to think it is a very close up photograph of the reflection of a boat or something. It is very liquid and even seems to ripple. The white adds much to realism. Very, very nice.

Nice colouring, this kind of reminds me of water flowing down. It's very eye catching. I don't think I would hang it on my wall (wouldn't match the colours) but it is done very well.

An eye catching image. The blending of the colors is fantastic and it has considerable fluid movement. The colors are fantastic. Best of luck in the contest.

This is a good entry for this contest as I see the colors of nature throughout the frame , they are creating a visually pleasing pattern with a strong sense of motion , this could be the leaves of a tree in late summer, blowing in the wind against the deep blue sky, or it could be a tree reflecting in a pool that has ripples from a breeze. This is well created and arranged, well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Outlandish approach.
Outstanding presentation. I like the robust brushwork. The colours, light and shadows and the composition have worked well. Good luck!

Thank you for the great review. It means a lot for a painting that all most didn?t exist, my daughter accidentally stepped on it when it was drying, and I had to re think it.

I would hate to be inside the eye but I can imagine it is much like this. Like in the center of a blender as everything spins around you. I can see new trees getting sucked in. Interesting idea.

I layer my colors and then bend them with my paint brush, move it. Nothing added to it to help it pour. Not sure if you have viewed my profile. I explain how I do it in some of my other paintings. Plus I saw your flag picture and I have something very similar that I have been doing for a few years now . Bending my colors before them break. Thanks

Usually I start by covering my canvas with whatever color or colors I mix. Then most times I come back in and lay out a pattern with some other colors then I go back through and do a lot of brush work. That?s how started with this style. I try different things along the way, that?s why we have the dot paintings with stacks of colors, I try to add colors and move them as much as possible before they all blend together. Thank you so much and sorry for the short response before. I really enjoy looking at your paintings and thank you for sharing. I?m always trying something new and different, but as you know it doesn?t always work out.this particular painting my daughter stepped on and I had to rethink it. It almost became a paint over project. Thanks again for the kind words and the great review. John
