Looking at the solid strokes seems like "it's easier said than done" feel...
I like the trademark finished look!

Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
Warm colors accentuated by some cool hues.

Nice explain white backdrop--pops out subject aesthetically.

Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for stopping by. I use this painting of Van Gogh on shirts for kids and cups for coffee drinkers. Tell me where to send one and it's yours.

Vincent Van Gogh is one of my favorite painters. I like the way you captured his essence using the broken brush strokes he is famous for. Your texture of his beard and straw hat are superb. You should have entered this in the Human Form contest

Your technique is outstanding.
Western Art isn't complete without Vincent Van Gogh. And here you are representing the master impressionist artist.

Well done.

Your strokes are quite spread out, in rough but consistent overlays and that's a beautiful technique.

Keep it coming... Wishing you all the best.

Great painting. If you didn't say so I wouldn't have known who that was. Lol

I looked up a pic of him and you did a really good job. I found it funny that you painted him with oil considering a majority of van goh painting were oil paintings.

This is a painting I did for my book cover, "Vincent Van Gogh's Leap of Faith.' I have cups and tee shirts with this image on them.

Interesting picture. It reminds me a lot of early Van Gogh. Great colors and just enough detail to be creative. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
