I like the contradiction of blue and red. The wall in the background emphasizes them. The cartoon looks good in color! I assume the wall is deep purple, since you never use black for bricks.

Sketch and outline couple hours tops...then when I went back to do the color after the contest a few hours to color. Thanks for the great review

A beautiful & colourful picture of this Roller Skating pair of a Bluebird & a Cardinal, their shadows dancing along with them wing in wing. Beautiful composition, created by your artist's eye for composition, very skilful draftsmanship beautiful choice blending & application of the colours in bringing this scene to musical rythemical life.

Nothing cheap about these skates. The colored version is bright and fun to look at, but in many ways I still prefer the black and white line drawing. This does attract your attention. Good lines and good shading. Well created.
