You are so fortunate to have so many unobstructed views of the water and the sky in your state! This is a lovely scene with great colors. The clouds were great for this shot.

Thank you so much Grace, I love it here but since the first part of June it?s been way too hot, it gets up to 96 on my back deck and with it being daylight most of the time, it doesn?t cool down in the evening, plus we have several wildfires burning and the smoke blows in to Anchorage, our normal summer temp is about 75 and we consider that hot! No AC in the homes here and the homes here are super insulated to keep them very warm!

Hi Pat,
Love the view and the angle of shoot but what really makes this image are those clouds. Wispy clouds against a blue sky always create a stunning shot. When you have the mountains and lake to go along with them it's a win-win situation! Lovely job of photographing! :o) Nancy

Strikingly beautiful! The clouds are beautiful and the whole scene speaks to me of peace and quiet. I love the positioning of the tree and hills with the river running through the middle. Beautiful Alaska!

This is a beautiful scene, Pat. I love the composition of the shot. You captured the clouds in a beautiful way. The shoreline, both on the right and the left, give the eye a lot to follow. I think the polarizing filter adds a bit too much blue in the sky but, that's a minor issue in an otherwise really beautiful image.

The filter offered a nice shade of blue for the sky with soft chalky like clouds.
Your exposure is controlled, focus sharp, colors Gorgeous and details crisp.
