Ooo, I love the frostiness of this image. The snow in the foreground is so clean and untouched and the grove of trees with the remnants of fall leaves invite me to create the first footprints in the fresh snow.

This is a cold cold scene. The stark trees stand out proud from the cold snow laden ground. Excellent composition. I like how the trees have a comparison tone and the old autumn leaves still clinging to some branches add depth and texture. The focus and use of light is good. White can be difficult to get right but this is fine it has the shadows and the glow with that cold misty air. Good luck... it is I think a great entry.

I like the simplicity of this scene, the tall trees with mostly bare branches, some still showing their autumn leaves, well focused, the image is clear, it looks like a fog has set in here.well managed exposure, colors and tones are natural, very nice work in the white snow! Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

You can feel the cold wind whipping through this wooded area. The blowing snow creates a sense of depth in the shot. I like the vertical orientation. The little bit of color in the shot provides bits of interest that attract the eye. I especially like the one brighter tree in the front. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

I like the tonality and think the snow looks great. Don't listen to those who scream "burn out". The colors are great and the composition is excellent. Best of luck in the contest.

A great entry for the competition presented here! Your very fine portrait composition captures the very essence of winter in a woodland. Like the restrained and misty look of the scene before you. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!
