Fantastic Profile Portrait style capture Fred. Focus is sharp, eye clarity superb and white balance controlled perfectly.
I like the fluffy feather stuck to it's bill.
Your Title should read : I can't get Rid of it not I can't Ride of it.

Can birds get cross eyed? He seems to be intently studying that bit of downy fluff stuck to his bill. This was an unusual scene to capture. Kudos to you!

Beautiful pose this grey heron has offered you! I see good detail over every visible part, well focused, the image is crisp and clear, exposure is well managed , colors and tones show true, that fluffy little feather on his Bill adds further interest! I love his clear eye! Well composed and presented!

A very nice profile. I like the s curve of the neck and the very sharp focus that shows off that bit of fluff beautifully. The eye is fantastic and the colors are great.

The detail of the bird is very well done. It is sharp, the structure is excellent and the colors are true. Your management of the background color and soft focus sets off the detail and color in the bird is a great balance.

A beautiful profile portrait of this Grey Heron with a dowy feather stuck to the upper mandible of it's long beak after preening. It's eye fixed ahead. Beautiful composition framing, background with the shadows of the trees on the water making the perfect backdrop to the Heron. Soft natural lighting taken with superb camera techniques sharp focus.

Aw. Great capture of the lovely heron with the feather still stuck on his beak after preening. He does look as if it's making him cross-eyed! Very good lighting and focus. Very funny. Suzanne

A interesting and amusing nature photo posted here! Your heron does look rather disturbed by that awkward feather. Like that shiny eye. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!
