Wonderful clarity and focus on this Barn Swallow. Superb lighting to show the details of his feathers with the bluish glow and lovely orange colouring around his face and eye.
He certainly seems to be eyeing you off without flinching. Well captured and composed!

A beautiful shot that is nicely composed. Although I might prefer something other than that rope for him to be perched on, the colors are great and the detail in the bird is abundant.

You are indeed productive these days Grace, and you have pictured this Barn Swallow so well. I especially like the way he is looking at you when the photo was taken, and also the diagonal line of the wire he is sitting on.
The bird is standing out sharp from the nicely softened background, and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen. I also think the exposure is spot on.
The format and framing is good and the bird is well placed off to the right. A lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
