Nice stop of this action! I love the position of the wings as the swan is lifting off the water, nice show of the motion in the splashes ! Well focused, clear image , the swan is standing out beautifully from the blue water. Well managed exposure , nice placement in the frame, well composed and presented!

First of all I have to congratulate you with a perfect stop action, and how well you have captured the water splashes behind the swan. You have also brought out the fine ripples and the shine in the water.

The photo is pin sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the swan, and the exposure is perfect.

I like the format you have cropped the photo into and how the bird is given room to move into. A great looking and well taken action shot Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

Running on water! He means business! Nice capture, you've even captured the water being churned as he runs after the goose. The lighting is good and also the focus. Nice capture of nature in action!

Definitely on a mission. I would not want to look up and see him heading my way. Good sharp focus and detail in the shot . Great stop action making the water drops in the splash very clear and visible. Good exposure and light control. Well captured.

I like the wide angle of this image as it really helps to show how enraged the swan is. You captured his fully extended neck and the hovering wings as he creates a splash trail in pursuit of the goose.

Around my place the swans have settled into complacency now that the nesting season is over. A very fine shot with good exposure for the white feathers as well as the white water. The action is well captured and the colors are beautiful.

I have seen this same activity on our lake. The capture is sharp and in focus. The details of the swan and the splash behind it as it takes off are well defined. Placement in the frame also is good.
