There are so many interesting elements in this scene. The various speeds of the rushing water and the rugged boulders are so textural. I like the mossy surface of the boulders on the shoreline and the many ferns.

Of course I had to review this since I am Norwegian. I don't know where the photo was taken, but you have pictured this lovely scene so well. I especially like how well the running water is captured, and also very much your POV.
Your photo is very sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen all over. I also think the exposure is fine, and the colors are nice and natural.
The photo is nicely cropped and it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I love watching water flow over rocks and around things. You really captured the excitement of a fast moving stream. I can't take my eyes off the rock in the middle with the ripples of water flowing down the side of it. Awesome.
