The colors in this scene are lovely. I really like how the sun created such a yellow path of light across the water. The rays above the clouds look nice too.

The photo is also very sharp, and both the sun, the clouds and the silhouetted landscape is standing out well.
The format and framing is fine and the sun is well placed off to the left. The horizon is however tilting to the right, and this is a distraction. Since this is such a lovely entry into this contest, I would have corrected this.
Still an all together lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

again someone else mentioned this tilting,, ha,,I don really see it,,the shoreline is kind of made that is it closer to us on the right,,not sure

That might be it. I have had the same thing so I just leveled it anyway. Then it looked fine at first glance. Try it and see what happens.

I am asking a question because everyone else seems to think the shore is tilting to the right? I don't see it,,but the shore in real life is closer to me on the right

Well, if we measured it with a ruler, we'd see some deviation. But that doesn't take away the beauty of a well taken shot as this.
