It is not my favorite piece of yours, but I do APPLAUD you always stretching your creative painter wings. There are several artists here on all sides that I see zero improvement from year after year. So yeah you Linda!
No idea about the techs needed to do this I only know what guache paint is because I have two paintings an artist painted for me using that paint. Nice work Linda and bravo for going out of your comfort zone.

I think the title goes very well with the piece of art. The composition and colors are fantastic. They are bright and cheerful. The subject has a lot of personality. The eyes give the girls so much expression.
You mentioned you are experimenting with a new technique. I think the choice of colors, the expression and composition make this piece a real winner. I can just see though however that you need to continue perfecting your use of this medium.

Terrific idea and so very well done Linda a pure and very stylized piece of modern art I really like that dackground with those jazzy designs and because of the face is so very powerful in its own right it mixes to gether very well with no conflicts in my view anyway! great contest entry!
