I really like the way the Cormorant is spreading her wings, and also how lovely the light is falling on her. You have also captured the blue eye really well. The bokeh in the background looks lovely and the bird is standing out in an excellent way.
The photo is Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in the feathers, and the exposure is Perfect.
I also like the tight framing and the placement of the bird within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.

I love it!! She really is showing herself off to perfection. The sun hitting her feathers and breast really enhances the photo up to that 6th star. I really like to look at the eyes in birds like this one. They look very piercing. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest.
