Eagles are so majestic. I sure am glad our founders changed their mind about the National bird being an eagle instead of a turkey. This guy looks like he might be ready for a nap. The lighting is good. The white is not blown out. Great focus and background management.

Eileen, this shot is a total success! Especially the nictitating membrane part is so cool!!! Excellent composition and colors and tones. I like the pose of this eagle and the colorfull reflections in his white feathes! Cool tones on the left and warm tones are on the right. Excellent job on hiding the fence marks! My adoration with the highest raiting! Bravo!

That eye thing reminds me of reptiles like alligators I believe. What an impressive bird though. Love the way he can turn his head like that. The colours are great and the details of the feathers are well presented here

Hi eileen0204

This is such a regal photograph. Looks like the eagle is leaning back after a huge meal and is getting ready for some shuteye. Exceptional work. R

Beautiful Eileen!
The eagles portrait is well shown and that detail on the feathers is nice and gives great depth to the photo. The eye, beak, and position of the eagle is intriguing to the viewer. Thanks for the share!
