Hi Mary, the white egret is such a beautiful and elegant bird, I like it's placement in the frame leaving plenty of room for it to look or move into, nice blurred background allows a clear view without distractions, the bird is well focused, the image is clear, I can see that it is partly in the shadows and partly in the bright sun. The top of the head and it's back on its right side is blown out causing a loss of detail. White subjects in bright sun are most difficult. I see good detail in the bill and the eye is clear. I'm sorry but I have to be honest in my review.

A nicely composed portrait. It is difficult to expose for white subjects in bright sun and you have done a good job. I like the look in his eye and the fine colors.
