This really is a beautiful shot of an all time favourite subject matter.The colours are awesome and the light os gentle and adds to the beauty of the surroundings. Finely composed and timed this makes interesting viewing!

I think the curve of the jetty compliments the skyline perfectly. A very fine sunrise that is well reflected on the water. The fisherman adds a bit of life to the otherwise sterile looking scene.

Very cool. The angle of the shot of this city skyline with colorful SkyView and water reflection is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

A very eye catching scene. The way the pier enters the scene from the lower right and curves into the center of the frame really captures the eye.
Good balance of water and skyline. The dawn sky is a bit washed and with a touch of saturation / vibrance would really enhance this great scene. Good eye for seeing this one ~ iPhone7

Although the angler looks quite small in this,i do like the way the causeway leads you into him and beyond,always worthwhile looking for different vantage points in taking views,nice one...Brian

Like the curving pier which takes your eyes to the water and beyond. The early light is soft against the grey buildings and clouds and reflects nicely on the water.

Nik,
A beautiful picture of the Fisherman,smoking & fishing off the end of the pier his bike propped on a post. In the background the Skyscrapers of the Windy City with the golden sun rising behind & above the clouds that are reflected on the lake's glistening surface. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
