Thanks Eileen - until I took up photography I didn't see the different birds it has definitely changed my appreciation of nature and what we have here in Aussie land.

This is an intriguing stop-in-action. The lifted claw shows the movement of the bird. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The bird is excellent placed right of center. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

hey he can be my partner..ill tell him "you dig em up and ill shuck em!" lol. being im half cajun i grew up on oyster on the half shell. yum yum..lol. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of this bird searching for oysters is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Quite a nice looking nature shot posted here! I am no expert on oysters, but would think that there would not be any there on just sand?! Your image benefits from being well composed with good exposure and sharpness. Nicely taken!

Hi Mary!
Covid is just about Out of Control up here in 'Gun Fighter Nation' and ,realistically,I think it will be for a good long time!
So it's fun to see a great looking photo of this interesting bird that's native to the 'Great Southern Continent'!
It's 'Good Show' all around,my friend!

Thanks again - sorry to hear things are out of control - we have cousins in Hamilton Ontario and they keep getting put into high alert. Will be a long time before things get back to any kind of normality.

This is another bird that I don't believe I have seen before, good stop of its movement, the bird is well placed within the frame leaving plenty of room to move into, well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct , I see well defined detail over every part of this interesting bird, I love its orange feet and beak and appreciate that clear orange eye! Well composed allowing a good sense of this location. Well presented!
