amazing how these mallard ducks can take a snooze standing up. What i love the most about this mallard is his tail in the back.i don't ever see tails on my ducks always tucked in .it is perfectly clear and his body looks like you did it in oils on a canvas.

This is a perfect picture of the duck .I like the way it is peeking at you. I broke my wrist and haven't been able to paint .It is just now getting better. You did a great job here.

Great image of the ducking, hiding from the photographer.

Spectacular colors and details with the light shining on the bird.

The blue water flowing in the background completes the presentation so nicely!

Lovely job with the background. Superb job with the male mallard who looks like he is indeed peeping out to assess the situation at hand. How beautiful the green head is!

Excellent mallard photo. The feathers have a silky look that makes the bird look so groomed. The vivid green of the head is the dash of color in the right place. The curly feathers in back finish off the photo. Good luck.

The Mallard is posing for you in such a lovely way, and I like the way it is peeping out from its wing. I like the close and personal approach, and also how well the duck is standing out from the soft silky looking water.

The photo is very sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the duck. Especially the feathers. The exposure is spot on.

The format and framing is working well, and I like the way the duck is almost filling the frame. It is a truly cute and well taken photo Nikman, and with an excellent DOF.

Simply brilliant!! I love that turned back head of the half asleep mallard as you clicked him perched on one leg so beautifully!! It's one of those fascinating clicks you steal from nature!! It's such a visual treat!! Thanks for sharing this
