Congratulations on your win. Outstanding!!! A wonderful job with an eagle perched on the large stump and him bowing his head as if in prayer. Indeed, I'm sure it would be for America was he praying. He (or she) seems to be observing something or in deep meditation or thought with open eyes. You really captured that!

Good positioning of the eagle. Makes me wonder what is the bird looking at. You selected a great pose for the photo. The feathers sticking out from the bird adds to the reality that they are not always sleek and close to the bird. Good luck.

Wow great shot of this bird of prey Pat! Beautiful positioning, like he was posing just for you. Your focus is great, amazing details of his face. I really love the angle of this shot. Your exposure is great, your background is a nice blue, not blown out at all. Thanks for sharing
