lovely painting of these dogs. I am a bit curious why a moonlit night, as these are close paintings and you would have had to observe those skin colours closely to get such a good result.

Thank you. I wasn't sure what to do for the background as I planned to just paint them on my black gessoed plaque. I shouldn't have gessoed it black as that made it more difficult to get all of the color pencil in white on Happy, the white dog, so I had to add just a little acrylic and go over some again. Since he loved to play with the greenish-yellow tennis ball, I wasn't sure whether to make it the moon or the ball.

This is soooo cute!!! I love the way you captured the dogs different personalities by their expressions and movements.

Thank you so much. I would have continued with the background not digitally but due to health decided to that for now. I like your feedback and suggestions and will continue on the plaque itself. It takes so long with colored pencil parts of it so I may do acrylic there.
