He looks like one of our North American beavers. The coarse hair helps keep him warm in the winter. Not unlike the beaver, they enjoy finding food in the water. I have watched beaver dam for a while in Canada and they are very industrious. They also like finding clams and shellfish. Lighting and focus is good and the tight crop gives us a great look at his features.

Is this a beaver? Or, another hairy animal? You did a superb job of photographing but I am unsure why I think these animals are almost ugly. The water is nice and you have captured his expressions well; witty title.

This is a very cute animal photo. Great Depth of Field and angle. The contrast, lighting, sharpen annd color are also excellent. It would be great hanging in a kid's room, or an elementary school.

A beautiful profile portrait of the Coypu stuffing it's face with a tasty morsel. The light sparkling in it's eye while highlighting it's thick fur & long white whiskers.
